Nature and the countryside have always been an inspiration for my work.
Local wildlife and in particular Hares and Foxes have been particular favourites.
I use earthenware, porcelain and more recently paper clay to create a range of work including animal brooches and magnets, small hanging robins Porcelain Hare & Fox Plaques and Hare Figurines.

Each of the Hares I make are individual and unique. I love to model their features and position their stance in different positions. They look interesting individually and equally as a pair or in small groups.
I continually look for ways to develop my work. Currently I’m working on their colour finish – whether its through the clay and temperature I fire them to, or the materials I use.
