Andrew's paintings are mainly oil on canvas and are heavily influenced by the towns, coast and countryside of South Wales where he grew up.
He started his working life in the late 1970’s, and after some minor successes in the music industry, Andrew pursued a career in graphic design. He became a sought-after designer working on well-known brands and worked consistently in design for over 40 years.
In 2017, he moved to Abergavenny on the edge of the beautiful Black Mountains and discovered a love of painting.
He began experimenting with oils and acrylics and has become a prolific artist, predominantly painting scenes inspired by his surroundings.
